Your Salon and COVID-19.

In order to guarantee you a safe and pleasant visit to our salon, we are taking extensive measures to protect against COVID-19.

Your safety matters!

We have developed a detailed action and hygiene plan with which we can guarantee the highest level of safety at all times.

These plans are based on guidelines from the National Health Service, recommendations from national and international hairdressing and cosmetic associations and also incorporate our own high standards of quality and safety.

In the course of the “new normal”, we are all going to be challenged at times!

All the new regulations and security measures may be unusual and sometimes exasperating – for you as well as for us, but for safety reasons and to protect everyone involved, we think that on the whole they are both necessary and important!

The main thing is that after the long shutdown we are delighted to be able to do what we love to do again:

take care of your beauty and wellbeing, and so we accept the increased safety measures graciously.

Your safety matters!

You are in very best hands.

Appointment only

We kindly ask that you understand that only customers with an appointment are allowed to enter the salon at the moment. We would ask any accompanying persons who do not have an appointment to please wait outside.

Social distancing

We have removed some of our chairs to extend the distance between cutting stations. As well as this, we aim to maintain the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 to 2 metres between individuals whenever possible.

Hand hygiene

We wash and disinfect our hands thoroughly before and after attending to a customer. We ask that you also maintain hand hygiene on arrival and also when leaving the salon.

Face masks & Co.

We will be wearing face masks, and, where necessary, protective visors. Please come to the salon with a face mask and put it on upon entering. If you don’t have one, we can provide you with a simple one.

Hairdressing capes and towels

All our hairdressing capes and towels will be used just once for each customer and will then be washed. After laundering, they are packaged in such a way that they remain germ-free until we need to use them.

Cutting stations

We thoroughly clean and disinfect all cutting stations and chairs as well as the wash chairs. You can tell that a cutting station has been cleaned because we will have placed a “Disinfected” sign there.

Work tools

All our work tools and products are cleaned, sterilized and disinfected immediately after each customer. We use a special UV sterilisation box and appropriate disinfectants.

Cleaning of surfaces

We thoroughly clean and disinfect all surfaces in the salon several times a day. We use special cleaning agents for this together with a highly effective disinfectant.

Magazines

For safety reasons, we are not currently allowed to provide newspapers and magazines for you, however, you are welcome to bring your own reading material.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

To follow we will explain and provide important information about our extended hygiene and safety measures:

Can you feel safe with us during the COVID-19 pandemic?

Yes, you can. We have put together an extensive package of hygiene measures in order to provide you with the greatest possible level of safety.

What measures do we have?
  • You can be sure that we wash and disinfect our hands thoroughly before and after attending to a customer.
  • All of our employees will be wearing face masks. We also ask you to come to our salon with a face mask. Please understand that we cannot attend to you if you are not wearing a mask. If you don’t have one, we would be happy to provide you with a simple disposable mask.
  • We have removed some chairs to extend the distance between the cutting stations. Instead of the recommended 1.5 to 2 metres minimum distance, we have created a distance of up to 3 metres between almost every cutting station.
  • Apart from the hairdresser or beautician who will be attending to you, we will try to maintain the recommended minimum distance of 1.5 to 2 metres between individuals whenever possible. We kindly ask that you do the same.
  • The waiting area cannot be used at the moment.
  • At the cutting stations, we will talk to you through the mirror, rather than face to face.
  • We are currently not allowed to serve drinks in the salon, as a mask must always be worn. Should you be thirsty, we can, in exceptional circumstances, offer you water in a paper cup on our terrace. You can briefly remove your mask there, providing social distancing measures are guaranteed.
  • We do not currently provide daily newspapers and/or magazines.
  • The Spanish government currently only allows the use of customer toilets in exceptional cases. If you are such an exception, please use paper towels to open and close the toilet door. You will find paper towels next to the sink as well as inside the bathroom. They can be disposed of in the small bins in the bathroom or in the larger bin next to the sink.
  • If you want to purchase a hair or beauty product, we will take it off the shelf for you with disinfected hands and hand it to you after scanning it at reception.
Does our politeness disappear?

There cannot be any physical contact at the moment, this is essential for everyone’s safety and wellbeing. Unfortunately, we cannot greet you or say goodbye with a handshake or a kiss as we usually do. We also have to ask you to hang your jacket on the peg yourself and pick it up again when leaving us. But apart from that we are in a very good mood and as polite as always ;-)

How do we handle disinfection?
  • We will ask you to wash, disinfect and apply cream to your hands immediately upon arrival in the salon. You can use our washbasin in the toilet area on the 1st floor. Here you will find hand soap, hand sanitiser gel, hand cream and paper towels.
  • There are a total of three “hygiene stations” available in the salon. Each station offers you sanitiser gel for your hands, hand cream and paper towels – as well as a notice board with the most important safety guidelines. On request, we can also provide a face mask and disposable gloves.
  • Before you go to the cutting station, it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. You can tell that a cutting station has been cleaned because we will place a “Disinfected” sign there.
  • Obviously we are constantly disinfecting and sterilising our cutting and dyeing tools such as scissors, brushes, combs, blow dryers, cutting machines, hand mirrors etc. – but we are also frequently cleaning the basins, wash chairs, door handles, hangers, iPad, credit card reader, and everything else …
  • All our hairdressing capes and towels will be used just once for each customer and they are then washed. After laundering, they are packaged in such a way that they remained germ-free until we need to use them.
  • After paying and before leaving the salon, you also have the opportunity to wash and care for your hands again.
What has changed with payments?

If possible, we ask that you pay by card, but we do accept cash. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro as always.

When paying with credit or debit cards, we will ask you to enter the PIN using a pen in order that you are not in contact with the card reader. We will disinfect the pen after every use.

If you wish we can provide you with a disinfectant wipe so that you can clean your card after payment.

How is our appointment cancellation and no shows policy?

If you cannot keep your appointment, you can cancel or postpone it as usual up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later than this or do not show up, we will unfortunately have to charge you a certain amount as a form of compensation as we will be unable to give your appointment to another customer. You can find out more about this here!

As already mentioned, we have removed some chairs for your safety. As a result, we now have less capacity available than usual. Cancellations at short notice or no-shows therefore hit us particularly hard and lead to a loss of revenue.

What if you have flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms?

Do you have any signs of flu or the typical symptoms of a Covid-19 infection – or you simply just don’t feel well? Then please let us know immediately and stay at home! We cannot attend to you if this is the case.

What else is important to know?

We kindly ask that you understand that only customers with an appointment are allowed to enter the salon at the moment. We would ask any accompanying persons who do not have an appointment to please wait outside.

Please note that the Spanish Authorities oblige us to record and store the following personal data relating to all of our customers:

  • First and last name
  • NIE number or personal ID or passport number
  • Time of arrival and departure from the salon

This data must be provided to the Health Authorities upon request in order that the infection chain of any specific person can be traced should this be necessary.

Together for a more beautiful world!

Everything we do, we do it for you! We care about your beauty, your health and happiness! We want to help make the world a little bit more beautiful and happier. Day after day! For you and for us!

Even if COVID-19 is currently turning our everyday life upside down, our mission remains the same: Together we can make the world a more beautiful place – by being there for each other; supporting, inspiring and providing strength. Not only during the current crisis, but also afterwards!
