We were in lovely Paris to discover new Trends in the Beauty and Fashion World.
Our trip to the “International Beauty Stylist Award 2014” barely lasted 53 hours, but that was still enough time to get tons of impressions of this inspiring city. Let me share them with you!
Paris is always a great Idea
The “International Beauty Stylist Award 2014”, hosted by the Société Française de Biosthétique, presented the most innovative hair stylists in the world and awarded the best look. This years grand finals have taken place in the legendary VIP Room.
Apart from the main event there were others worth visiting such as, a champagne reception in the classy La Biosthétique Headquarter right next to the Arc de Triomphe or the wonderful show “French Icons”, staged by the International La Biosthétique Artistic Team at the trendy Yoyo Club at Palais de Tokyo.

Restaurant La Coupole, Paris
The “La Coupole” is one of the most legendary places in Paris. This Brasserie was brought to life in 1927 as a temple of Art Deco. It was frequented by the brightest stars of art, literature and nightlife: artists, models, socialites, big spenders – to name just a few of them: Pablo Picasso, Josephine Baker, Henry Miller, Ernest Hemingway, Albert Camus, Alberto Giacometti, Jean-Paul Sartre, Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin.
The La Coupole literally has the jester’s license. The waiters can be loud, grumpy and sometimes almost a bit too funny. But even so, this famous Brasserie is the Grande Dame of the gastronomy, you just can´t hold it against them.
It´s a classic and absolutely worth visiting.
La Biosthétique Headquarter
The venue of the prestigious headquarter from La Biosthétique could hardly be more symbolic – on the first floor of the former Armani-Palais, just vis-à-vis of the world famous Arc de Triomphe!
La Biosthétique hosted right here a superb champagne reception with delicious bites and fine music (thanks to the DJ). We had the pleasure of meeting all the participants of the International Beauty Stylist Award 2014, important media people and other professionals from the beauty biz. Great atmosphere with very nice folks. We really had an amazing time!
Show “French Icons” at Yoyo Club
Right after leaving the La Biosthétique Headquarters, we headed over to the trendy Yoyo Club, right underneath the artsy Palais de Tokyo.
The International La Biosthétique Artistic Team of Alexander Dinter was showing “French Icons”. The Show takes us on a wonderful journey through times, a great homage to french style icons such as Coco Chanel, Josephine Baker, Brigitte Bardot, Jean Seberg, Sophie Marceau and Vanessa Paradise.

International Beauty Stylist Award 2014 at VIP Room
Finally the eagerly-awaited event has taken off! All international participants and several hundred invited guests from all over the world were thrilled when the Grand Jury was announcing the winner:
Joseph Debrincat from Australia (Foxy Salon, Melbourne) is the winner of the “International Beauty Stylist Award 2014”.
Congratulations to the winner!!!!
..and what happened then?? A lot of champagne, too many gin tonics, tasty finger food, great laughs and a lots of dancing – to be precise… it went on until late in the night.
Paris, I will miss ♥ you!

PS: By the way…at the “National Beauty Stylist Award” in Spain, my look “Catch me, if you can.” was awarded 2nd best national Look. So we just barely missed the international finals in Paris ;-)
